Thriller opening- Planning Title sequence 

The first titles to appear on our thriller opening will be a name of a made up production line which is 'Glitter productions'. This will appear in the centre of the screen in large sans-serif text. This is in large text as it will be the first thing the viewer will see.

The next titles to appear on screen will be the names of the actor and actress.

Then the directors, editors, music composer and the writer etc.

Then the last text to appear on screen will be at the very end of our thriller opening and it will be the title of our thriller

Dark Past

Thriller opening- Fonts 

Myself and Amy decided to look at possible fonts for our title sequence. We wanted the font to fit in with the thriller genre but also our film opening therefore it needs to be creepy, eery and mystrious. We thought that we would look at several different ones trying each of them out to see which would look most effective. We wanted it to stand out from anything else that will be on the screen so that the title is remembered by the viewers. We also wanted it to look different to other thrillers title sequence as we want our thriller to be unique. However aswell as it standing out we don't want the font to be too large and bold. We decided that the font would look best in black or dark grey as these colours can be related with death and danger and this fits in with our storyline. We discussed the idea of our font being smokey but wasn't sure whether it would be very effective or not so decided that when creating our title sequence we would try it.
